Mission Statement
The Lewes Advanced Placement Summer Institute is an intensive program designed to give Advanced Placement teachers experience in developing and teaching AP* Program courses.
This years AP Program offers 15 subject areas for new and experienced AP teachers, including Pre AP English, Math and Science. Lewes AP encourages and welcomes Honor level teachers to attend and learn how they may maximize the potential of their students. The instructors are certified and endorsed by the Middle States Region of the College Board and are experienced classroom teachers.
Teachers leave Lewes AP* Summer Institute with an increased amount of information learned from master teachers. Gaining strategic insights, creative strategies, boundless inspiration, and imagination for "best practices" lesson plans that challenge students.
The beach environment is the perfect setting for a learning experience that is
second to none.
